The Hunger Games is a valiant book because it's children that are killing and dying. Having said that it is written in a way that you didn't feel that way when you read it. Because it's set in the future and all the districts children that are taking part in the games it is normal for them, because they are used it, we, as the reader are not used to it so it's shocking for us.
